(that's the first song that always pops into my head when I think of this city)
ANYWAYS. I am currently sitting here, spending my last day in America with a nearly 50-pound suitcase and two half-full carry-ons in my room, keeping an eye on our Facebook group and hoping that Irene doesn't decide to take a detour through the Midwest tomorrow.
Because tomorrow is it. I finally get to go abroad! I'll be spending the semester in...
No, not that kind of bath. I'll be in Bath, Somerset, England (hence the blog title) and I'm hoping to go to other places in Europe while I'm there too (Paris, if nothing else. I'll be sad if I don't get to go there again). Right now I'm just hoping I'll be able to find where I'm supposed to go after I land in England and that they won't find my American accent too hideous.
So, if you're following this blog, it means I begged you to, and I'll try to make myself as entertaining and coherent as possible. Thanks for checking me out and until next time, here's a REAL picture of where I'll be going:
and don't forget to follow me on twitter!
