I was actually going to pick myself off of this couch, tear myself away from the beautiful view in front of me of the rolling hills of Bath freckled with old homes that seem like something out of Miss Austen's imagination, grab a camera, and take some preliminary snapshots of what my life is going to look like for the next four months. But guess what? I have JETLAG. I have not experienced this terrible phenomenon since 2008 so it's taking me some time to get used to. As such, I will not be taking pictures today, but I will take a colorful array of them in the days to come.
Oritentation is almost here (see, look at that spelling there). I can already tell i'm going to love it here, with the view, the people, the room I have that isn't the size of a shoebox (coughcoughDenisoncoughcough).
And ok, here's something I find funny (you may not, because you aren't jetlagged) : I have my very bathtub. I have my own bath in Bath. Ha! This probably won't be funny anymore after I get a good night's sleep tonight. (notice how i forgot "own" in a previous sentence sentence. I just wrote sentence twice)
Ok, my rambling is a pretty good sign that I need to put down the blog and go jogging or something in order to keep from nodding off or getting too sleep-deprived-crazy. I'm here, I'm happy, I'm alive, this is goign to be something amazig! (ugh.)
